Kingsley Healthcare Launches Home Care Services in Jersey, Channel Islands
Kingsley Healthcare is proud to announce the launch of Kingsley Jersey Home Care, marking a significant milestone in the Group’s strategic expansion into the Channel Islands. This exciting development represents a new chapter in Kingsley’s 26 -year journey of delivering exceptional, person-centred care across the UK.
Located at 13 Royal Square, St Helier, Kingsley Jersey Home Care brings to the island a values-led, person-centred home care proposition, with services ranging from companionship and personal care to live-in care. The launch also reinforces Kingsley’s long-standing connection with Jersey, where the Thayan family’s private office has been based for over a decade.
With plans for further investment in the island, Kingsley anticipates that the new branch will create over 50 jobs within its first year of operation, contributing positively to the local economy and care sector.
The service will be led by newly appointed Manager Lindsey Greechan, a well-known figure on the island both professionally and in sporting circles. A former international lawn bowls player, Lindsey brings a wealth of local knowledge and leadership experience from the financial services, estate agency, and domiciliary care sectors.
Speaking about her new role, Lindsey said:
“I immediately discovered that care was my true calling. It is incredibly rewarding to empathise with individuals and families, understand their needs, and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Lindsey’s sporting achievements include winning the World Bowls Junior Indoor Championship in 2002 and the British Singles title in 2008. She represented Jersey in the 2014 Commonwealth Games, narrowly missing a bronze medal by finishing in fourth place.
